Chandler Far East Manufacturing

Located in Changzhou, China, a two and a half hour drive or 1 hour fifteen minute train ride from Shanghai, the Chandler production facility is a joint venture with one Chinese National partner. Chandler owns 93.5% of the joint venture and the Chinese partner the balance. The 20,000 square foot facility will specialize in CNC machining and sub-assembly of components to very exacting requirements, in a variety of materials similar to Chandler U.S. The Far East Company’s first priority will be to supply high quality components to large U.S. and European Chandler customers operating in Asia. U.S. engineering will oversee the process development and initial quality control systems while production processes will be seamlessly integrated and maintained with the U.S. ISO 9001:2000 quality control approval for Chandler Far East Manufacturing was reached in July 0f 2008

Chandler Far East Manufacturing currently has 45 experienced employees who operate a wide variety of manual equipment plus 15 CNC lathes and mills. All of the necessary inspection equipment is on site along with highly trained quality personnel. Computer based SPC systems were also initiated in the summer of 2008.
